Taking 34 households of a residence community which implements 65% energy saving rate in Tangshan city as objects, collects and analyses the operation parameters of the heating season between the year 2012 and 2013 with the heat metering system based on the on-off time and area method. The result shows that the heating probability of households is between 0.8 and 1. The temperature difference of heat transfer between adjacent rooms is less than 5 ℃, therefore, the impact of heat transfer by adjacent rooms can be significantly reduced. When the average outdoor temperature and room temperature is -2.3 ℃ and 22 ℃ respectively, the average heat consumption of the test building is 26.6 W/m2, and the converted value under design condition is 20.4 W/m2 , which is still higher than the theoretical index (12.4 W/m2).
